Another article this time from the Charlestown Historical Society. It related the construction of a memorial for the Irish 'Famine' immigrants that made it to North America. It also covers the history of the region in relation to the 'Famine' and the influx of Irish refugees. It is an interesting regional perspective on the effects of the 'Famine'.
