I live in Argentina, and right now I'm working in my thesis. It's about  Irish peasantry  of the 19th century. I think it's very important to talk about Irish genocide. No body in my country talk about it or about what is happening in the six counties of the north. Information is essential for justice.

I am a sixty-seven-year-old man disabled by the birth defect Spina Bifida. I walked with crutches and braces most of my life but a car accident put me in a wheelchair in 1992. Both my parents have roots in County Mayo; my father was born there and both my mother's parents are from there as well. This means I still have cousins, first and second, living there and also several in Dublin. Many have emigrated to England but in this day and age are able to come and go back and forth several times a year.

I have always had a keen interest in Irish history, mainly because I got so little in my formal education, no matter what level of schooling, in the U.S. What is called The Famine was so obviously biased with a pro-Britain slant that led me to want to get a trueBefore finding this web site it was clear to me that a early form of genocide had been perpetrated on the Irish people.

I hope to greatly expand ny knowledge of the subject by my membership on this site.
