About Me
I live in Argentina, and right now I'm working in my thesis. It's about Irish peasantry of the 19th century. I think it's very important to talk about Irish genocide. No body in my country talk about it or about what is happening in the six counties of the north. Information is essential for justice. |

About Me
Hello, My name is Lisa and I live with my husband and children in Orlando, FL. Recent transplant to this part of the country having been born and raised just south of Boston. I have been researching my families genealogy for about 20 years now and was blessed to find out that my grandfather was born and lived in Kenmare, Ireland. The most rewarding part for me was being able to let my father know this before he passed. You see, he never knew his father because he passed when my dad was only 3 and he had no idea that his dad came to America from Ireland. He just assumed he was born in Boston. It's bitterswet to learn the ancestry of my father and his father before him, to read of all the tragedy and hardships they must have gone through, but to also be so proud that my grandfather took an amazing leap at only age 17 to come to a new country, alone to start a better life. I have learned that my great grandparents lived through the genocide and were proud, although very poor farmers and that my great, great grandparents did not make it through, but perished as so many other poor and homeless did. I am educating not only myself, but my three children as well as any friends who will listen about the tragedy, the genocide, the TRUTH about what happened to the Irish people. I am the owner of Kenmare Productions and co-owner of Presage Entertainament Networks, both independent film companies here in Orlando. My passions are my family, genealogy, travel and photography.:) |
