My  mother's family  was Mulderrig  from the twonland of Derreen but there are other names associated  with her family in Mayio, such as Hoban, Clarke,   and Dolphin.

I am interested in finding   more connections  with these families   and to find out if there are any  current  residents of Mayo  that have  a line to my mother's family.  Her family immigrated  during the later stages of the famine so  there may not be many connections.

But any information  is appreciated and I would be willing to correspond to anyone who is interested.

Born in America, reared as a child and educated as an adult in Ireland. I may have been born in the States, but Ireland will always be home to me. I'm a former award-winning journalist of some 15 years, so accuracy and truth are very important to me.
