September 16, 1847, celebrates the current cheap price of English bread and the supposed recovery of the Irish potato crop. The loaf is saying, "Well! old Fellow I'm delighted to see you looking so well-- Why they said you had the Aphis Vastator" The potato responds, "all humbug Sir never was better in my life thank Heaven"
